Christmas

Merry Christmas everyone!!!
This is a wonderful day! Here in Tennessee with Josh's family. Woke up and opened too many gifts! We are so so blessed!

Today is Simone's first Christmas. She is looking cute as always. :)

I am reminded today as I take great joy in my girl that so long ago a little baby just like her was born into this world. With one purpose. To save us. To save me, and MY little girl! WOW! I am so grateful for Jesus and for everything he has given me!

Don't forget to love on your family and friends today, and your Jesus!

Merry Christmas!

Thanksgiving

Today is a beautiful day. I love this holiday. I think that it forces people to be aware of all of the blessing God has given them, and I LOVE that! And not to mention th excuse to eat eat eat! I wish every day was thanksgiving. :)

Today I am in Tennessee with the Brown family. I would not want to be anywhere else!
I love Tennessee. It's one of Gods most beautiful states. It's great to walk outside this beautiful home in the cold air and admire Gods creation.

Today I am grateful for many many things. But I thought I would do a top ten of sorts. These are in no particular order.

I Am Thankful For....
10) Freedom - there are alot of people who are not here with their families this year because they are volunteering to serve our country. Freedom is never free. I am thankful for those people.
9) My church- it provided me with the best job in the world and with a place to worship my savior. God has great things in store for Ridge Community Church and I am so grateful to be a part of it.
8) The Brown Family- I am so grateful for the family that God allowed me to marry in to. I have the best in laws and extended in laws anyone could ask for. I am proud to be a Brown.
7) My friends- the word friend doesn't justify what they are to me. More like family. My small group of friends I could not get by without :)
6) My Dad - I am so proud of him. He is truley the best father a girl could ask for. I admire his emense love and grace for his kids. Just like our heavenly father. I am so grateful for all he has taught me. I pray to be the kind of parent to Simone that he was and is to me.
5) My Mom- I am so proud of the woman she is. She is the strongest woman I know. She is one of my best friends. I am so grateful for everything she does for me. I could not survive without her by my side.
4) The Hemenways- My Sister. I am grateful for our relationship. I don't think she knows how much I love her. Ross. He is the brother I never had. He always takes care of me. I love him so much. My Canton-He is my sweet boy and brings me so much happiness
3) Joshua Lee Brown- the love of my life. The most wonderful man that I am so not worthy of. He is my best friend and my partner for life. I love him with all my heart.
2) My Baby Girl- 7 months ago Josh and I were given our greatest gift. I can't even say words to describe my love and thankfulness for her. She is my joy.
1) My Blessings- My Jesus amazes me every single day with what he gives me. From my family, to providing financially, to breathe and life and the ability to worship him. I am amazed how he continues to bless me. I am not worthy.

Happy Thanksgiving to All!

Excercise and The Holiday Season

Josh and I started jogging in the mornings yesterday. It's a routine we are determined to create. We have been dieting but we know that will be hard to keep during the holidays. We will try our best to keep to our diet but won't deprive ourselves on those special days. Because who wants to be miserable on thanksiving and christmas?! We will still jogg every day though.
This is our first day of jogging picture.

Since we are talking about the holidays I must admit that we already have our house fully decorated for Christmas. We put the tree up on November 1st. In case you didn't already know Josh is obsessed with Christmas! And I happen to love it! Here is our tree!

iPhone Blogging

Uh oh! Now we are in trouble! I got the blogger app for my iPhone. Hehe. :). Here is a picture of Simone on Sunday. She was having her first drink of sweet tea given by uncle Nate. He also gave her beans and guacamole. Her first table foods!

And what is that she is wearing you ask? That's right my friends it's a baby Titans cheerleading outfit. And yes they finally won a game on Sunday! Hooray! Here she is again.

Isn't she just the cutest?! I love my baby girl!!

Tiffani

Halloween!

Hello All!

Its been a busy few weeks. We had Simone's first Halloween! Even though she can't say "trick or treat" yet or eat any candy, we still had a blast!

We went as The Wizard of Oz! I was Dorothy, Simone was Toto, and Josh was the cowardly lion.

(My sister and her husband and son, and our other best friends joined in our Wizard of Oz outfitting. I will have to post that picture when I get it on my computer. The lion, scarecrow, and tin man, both the good and bad witch, and Dorothy! It was way cute!)

We took Simone and Canton (my nephew, "a flying monkey) to the Community Fall Fest.
(That's our friend Allison with them! :) )

And when they got home Canton was telling "sissy" about when she gets bigger she will be able to play the games and eat candy too!

Josh and i were so proud of our little girl she is getting so big and cuter every day!
It was a great weekend in BrownTown!

Josh's Turn!

hey folks. it's josh. tiffani let me write on the blog! YAY!!! anyway. i was going through some pictures from this past summer, and I came across some pictures I took while we were in San Antonio for Tiffani's birthday! This was the first trip we took without our beautiful baby girl Simone!

I am so excited about this blog so people can keep up with us and know whats going on in our lives! God has been blessing us a TON!!!

This is an old hotel from the view of the front of our hotel called "Hotel Valencia"

This one was hard to get, cause I had to stand in the middle of the busy main street to get this shot, but it was so cool to see the trolley's and the whole street, I thought.

This is the first restaurant we dined at during our weekend. Definitely the best TexMex I've had since moving here.

This is the view from the RiverWalk to our hotel. It was awesome!

This was the view of the RiverWalk from our hotel. Just an awesome trip.

We are blessed!!! That is all!!

Blogging is Fun... Right?

Hello All,
As many of you may know we, The Brown Family, are busy bee's with a jammed packed life!
Although i truly enjoy picture taking, scrap booking, album making, etc., I am quickly finding out that as an adult with a full time job, a 6 month old, and every other thing on my weekly list, i am not able to capture these times as i would like. Therefore, i am starting a blog! Well, WE are starting a blog. (I guess i will allow josh to post here also :)) I figure this will be a great way for us to keep memory of our lives and an even better way for our friends and family to keep track of whats going on in BrownTown.

If you don't already know, last week we went to Chicago to take Simone for her initial evaluation at the Shriner's Hospital. She has a cleft (hole) in her soft pallet (back of her mouth) that opens up to her nose. The Shriner's are WONDERFUL people who are going to do Simone's surgery for 100% FREE to us! They even pay for our flights, hotels, and taxis! SUCH A BLESSING! They said they are going to set her up for surgery in January or February, and as soon as we know we will be posting about it.  Here are a few pictures from our first of many Chicago trips!

Simone had her very first plane ride.

It was cold in Chicago!

And the people at the Shriner's Hospital were so nice!

Over all it was a great trip :)
